Roosters Youth Rugby welcomes families from across the DC metro area, with players joining us from Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and Anne Arundel County Maryland, as well as Washington DC and Northern Virginia.
Families participate from communities including Germantown, Rockville, Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg, Clarksburg, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Laurel, Annapolis, McLean, and surrounding areas.
Roosters Rugby also provides a lifelong connection to the sport through a seasonal 19+ alumni side and our relationship with the Roosters Old Boys Club.
We also support our friends at Maryland Exiles Touch Rugby to offer summer touch rugby (U7–U16), a fun non-contact way for players to stay active and try rugby before joining tackle programs.

Roosters Rugby uses age-appropriate certified coaching. Players learn proper technique before contact. All coaching is designed to safely make athletes rugby-ready. What do We need?
Getting started is easy. For the first practice, players just need athletic clothing, cleats (soccer cleats are fine), a mouth guard, water, and a willingness to learn. After registering, families are added to TeamSnap and our WhatsApp groups for schedules, field locations, weather updates, and team announcements so everyone stays informed from day one.

Roosters Youth Rugby practices are generally Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM at the fields at Bethesda United Church of Christ located at 10010 Fernwood Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817
